Organizers of the Golden Apricot Film Festival appreciate the cooperation with a number of Embassies of foreign countries in Armenia and different international organizations. Besides the Embassies of the United States, Germany, France, Italy and Poland in Armenia, as well as a number of international organizations functioning in our country, the Golden Apricot cooperates with respected international structures like the Unifrance international network and the Tbilisi and Munich Offices of the Goethe Institute.

The visits of foreign guests to Armenia within the framework of the festival become possible thanks to the above mentioned structures. They also help bring the best pieces of world cinematography to Armenia.

The “Directors without borders” forum and the Armenia Turkey Cinema Platform will take place with the support of the US Embassy and the EU Delegation to Armenia.

The French Embassy will support the organization of the retrospective screening of films directed by Henri Verneuil.

German film director of Turkish descent Fatih Akin will arrive in Armenia thanks to the efforts of the German Embassy and the Goethe Institute.

The British Council has set a special prize for the best short film in the Armenian Panorama program. The winning film will have an opportunity to participate in the Bristol Film Festival.

This year the Festival is launching cooperation with the Embassy of Brazil. Film critic and director of Armenian descent, founder of the Sao Paolo International Film Festival Levon Kakov (Shatarevyan) will arrive in Yerevan within the framework of the Golden Apricot Festival.
